On the morning of Feb. 29, Celebration of the International Women’s Day & National March-Eighth Red Banner Holder (Group) Commendation Conference 2016 was held solemnly in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Ms. Yang Yanli, Deputy Director of Track Division of Track Alignment and Station Yard Design & Research Department of SIYUAN, has been awarded the National March-Eighth Red Banner Holder and invited to the commendation conference.
Ms. Yang Yanli is a young professional well known in rail industry in China and was invited to be the bid evaluation expert by the former Ministry of Railways in 2010. As the Deputy Director in charge of the research and development of scientific research software, she studied assiduously with the technicians with bold innovation and meticulous design. They have started with no technical reserves but have accomplished the design of high-speed rail tracks for more than 8,000km, which has covered more than half of the high-speed rail in China, and have made great contributions to the scientific research and design of high-speed rail tracks in China.
There were ten National March-Eighth Woman Pacesetters, 300 National March-Eighth Red Banner Holders and 200 National March-Eighth Red Banner Holders Groups being commended in this Commendation Conference. Ms. Yang Yanli was the only commended representative recommended by China Railways Construction Corporation (CRCC) and one of the five commended individuals from State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) system of the State Council.
In the evening, SIYUAN organized a brief but warm reception ceremony and symposium, welcoming Ms. Yang Yanli returning home with great honor. Mr. Lei Jiamin, Secretary of the Party Committee of SIYUAN, Mr. Liu Jiamei, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission and Chairman of the Labor Union, heads of the Party Committee Office, the Labor Union and Track Alignment and Station Yard Design & Research Department of SIYUAN, as well as some female worker representatives had attended the meeting.
